Thomas Prautsch - paintings

Thomas Prautsch is a German painter from Münster in Westphalia. Similarly to Leonid Afremov (whose works I hope to feature later) he works in oils and with a palette knife, at least in some of his paintings. In my humble and honest opinion, one of the best traditional painters I've seen. Not only because I love German painters.

Paul Cadden - Photorealism

Mr. Cadden creates photorealistic drawings using only a pencil. I don't know how long it takes to draw like that ad to draw something like that and I'm not quite sure I want to know!

Christian Faur - Math Panels.

After seeing the title of this post, you probably thought "This guy was here before" and "Math? Everyone hates math!" In both cases, you're right. Mr. Faur is known for the creative use of materials and his love for equations non-comprehensible for the most of us.

Lisa Nillson was once featured here with her paper cross-sections of human body. Now I want feature her... her what? Collages? Assemblages? Ready-mades? I guess a box filled with various objects can be called all that. Charming and imaginative!
