Alexa Meade

An artist from Washington D.C. whose work doesn't resemble life. That's right. Rather, her work turns "life" into "painting". Playing with our imagination and perceptions, she paints people and objects for the sole purpose of looking like a painting. Creative, isn't it?

Jonathan Frantini - Street View photography series

Mr. Frantini is an Italian photographer currently living in Milan and Brooklyn. He worked for many, many companies, magazines and projects, but these photographs have something what I value the most in this medium - atmosphere. You can literally feel the image and become a part of it. What do you think?

Mat Brown - Paintings

A Canadian artist who has a list of exhibitions longer than many of painters twice his age. After last, mild post I felt I needed something disturbing to show to you. Well, here you are!

Luca Klikovac - Demersal - photography

Mr. Klikovac is a young Serbian photographer who in his project Demersal explores the underwater collisions and breaks of colour. Surreal, delicate, enchanting. Focused maybe not on pure aesthetics of the shot, but rather its depth that creates that atmosphere.

Jason Fulford's photography

A traveler, artist, co-founder of J&L Books (which publishes exceptional books made by artists). His pieces are what I love most about photography. Ideally balanced mood, story, absurd; all perfectly shot. Most of them could use some context - as always - visit the source!

Also, big changes incoming here! Stay tuned!

Andrew Myers - Screw art! (quite literally)

Ahh, California, what doesn't it have? Sandy beaches, rocky mountains and cheap weed. Also, Mr. Myers who produces his art which is a curious mix between painting and sculpture. See for yourselves!

Lu Cong - portraits

American painter of Chinese origins who chose art over medicine. That was certainly a great choice! His works do not only explore the subject's psyche but rather try to establish a connection between them and the artist. Calm, yet passionate.

Carl de Keyzer - Photography

De Keyzer - Belgian photographer and one of my favourite. Mostly because of his themes - not banal portraits, places or flowers - he shoots things that, in his opinion, matter. De Keyzer isn't known for his single photos - he rather works on several projects later presented in form of large tableaux with his own notes. Of course, I cannot show you them at large, as they should be viewed. That's why I encourage you to visit his website.

Also, this is the 100th post here! You should probably like us on facebook or something.
